“Welcome to Omaha, everybody,” the captain’s voice coming in loud and clear over the PA. “The local time is 10:45 am, and the temperature is a feverishly warm, 104 degrees Fahrenheit.” The captain pausing to take a really thirsty swig from her flask, then a really hungry bite out of her green eggs and ham sandwich. “Now don’t forget to stay hydrated out there, folks. And thank you for flying with us today.”
